John Erdmann built Terra Tec out of a dream. As a kid growing up in Wisconsin, he tended to rose gardens, planted annual beds and mowed lawns. While studying at the University of Wisconsin, he worked as a landscaper. He gained valuable experience in all capacities of installation including grading, wall construction, paving and planting on both new and existing sites. Through these experiences he found his true passion. And his passion became Terra Tec. An award-winning landscape company that makes dreams and expectations come true. John has continued to enhance his expertise in hardscaping, stonework and land contouring. As the company has grown, he’s surrounded himself with a team of experts in landscape architecture, horticulture and forestry. They too share his passion for making dreams come true for discriminating homeowners throughout southeast Wisconsin.
Nancy Ziarek
Landscape Architect
Nancy is a Registered Landscape Architect and full member of the American Society of Landscape Architecture. She graduated with honors from MATC and received her degree in Ornamental Horticulture. Throughout her 17 years in landscaping, she has developed and managed projects for a diverse group of residential and commercial sites. Nancy enjoys the challenge each design brings and she strives to create a unique and inviting atmosphere for each of her clients.
Douglas Goetz
Head of Landscape Management
Doug has been with Terra Tec for 10 years as Head of Landscape Management. He graduated from University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point and received his Bachelor of Science degrees in Forestry Management and Resource Management. Doug has certifications in Mauget Tree Injection, Forest Fire Fighting State of Wisconsin, PADI, and State of Wisconsin Pesticide Certification/License, Class 3. He prides himself in his dedication to customer service and his commitment to always exceed his customer’s expectations. He believes that working closely with each and every customer will ensure that they get the landscape of their dreams.
Dustin Lindert
Landscape Architect
Dustin joined the Terra Tec team in March 2008. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in
horticulture with an emphasis in landscape design from the University of Wisconsin, River Falls. Dustin brings unique and valuable experiences along with the ability to delight clients with his innovative and creative landscape designs.
Jean Hanson
Landscape Architect
Jean is a Registered Landscape Architect and a full member of the American Society of Landscape Architects, as well as the Wisconsin Chapter of ASLA. She graduated with distinction from University of
Wisconsin, Madison and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture. Throughout her 27 years of experience in landscape designs and building, she has received numerous awards including a Gold Award from “Milwaukee Home Magazine” Landscape Awards, a Bronze Award from Wisconsin Landscape Contractors Association and the Award of Excellence from the Wisconsin Landscape Federation three separate times.
